waking into darkness sleep a dream long fogotten no one to comfort the broken heart broken dreams escape no escape from the turmoil of emotions broken glass cutting deep leaves scars of forgotten joy love hopeless pain at the touch pain in her eyes no one can see the edge of a soul unwilling to go on help is a thought she has forgotten words hurt love hurts | the pain overwhelms where can she go no one can understand no one to believe caresses turned to cuts kisses into the bite of a razor she needs someone to care but no one will listen she tries to explain but no one understands her words the look in her eyes the feel of her hand even she dreads no where out of the hurt hurt deep in her heart unsure of her life craving to forget memories in the back of her mind she learns she cannot love love hurts |
everyone she loves, leaves so she cannot love it hurts too much the pain drives out all joy because she always loves and the pain drives them away the hurt in her eyes deep into her soul love hurts |
