grief
waiting for an answerlost in darkness
trying to understand
i ask the question
we all have in our hearts
why do we die
losing my soul
i wait for enlightenment
and always ask why
the pain inside cuts deep
no one can rescue me
life ends alone
crying in the darkness
of pain and loss
and still i ask why
no fair my heart cries out
what god could leave us with this
and i will always ask why
why do i have to grieve
why do we have to die
