Giants

Giants have taken over,
Construction firms rule OK,
They build roads the people don't want
Because you don't have any say.
They build their trash across the place
You thought was home sweet home,
Apologies for the inconvenience
But it's progress to these hearts of stone.

Giants have taken over,
Building hypermarkets around your town
And all the little corner shops,
Too bad, they must close down.
David fought Goliath
And he was just a little guy,
You can beat them just like him
If you'll only try.

Giants took over the transport
And they upped the fares sky high,
Poor folk starved to death on the streets
As rich giants passed them by.
How'd you think Mother Earth feels?
She's a spirit just like you.
Don't you think her body's in pain
With all the things these maggots do?
